Q: Can I keep Country Style Picnics material?
A: All of our picnic set ups are for rent. All included material will be collected after each event.
Q: How much notice do I need to give to book a picnic?
A: As a rule, we need 72 hours notice. Although we do get very booked up at weekends, so the more notice the better!
Q: Where can I have a Country Style Picnic?
A: We have presence in Lisbon area and Algarve (Tavira).
We are based in Cascais and Tavira, we service the surrounding areas within an hour’s driving distance. There is a travel fee of €20 for any locations over 15 kms from Cascais/Tavira, and so on. Ask as for a quotation.
Q: What are the payment conditions?
A: We require full payment at least 72 hours before the picnic. This can be done directly via Bank Transfer or Mbway. These details will be provided to you by email when booking your reservation.
Q: Where can I enjoy a picnic?
A: We will set up your picnic at a location of your choice, or at one of our suggested spots. We will set up at public beaches, public parks, and private residences. We adhere to the rules and regulations of all public locations.
Q: Do you host picnics for more than 8 people?
A: We are happy to set-up a picnic for your special occasion. Just send an email to cspicnics@mail.com with details and we will provide you with a quote to create a custom picnic for you needs. Picnics of 9+ guests will require a 25% non-refundable retainer at the time of booking. The remaining 75% is due 48 hours prior to the event. Large parties or 9+ incur a service charge of 20% off the base picnic price.
Q: Can we bring our own food?
A: Yes, you may bring your own food. Our picnic packages include only light bites. You may view our food options on our packs page.
Q: What is the weather policy?
A: Cspicnics reserves the right to make cancellations due to inclement weather on the day of the picnic. If the weather is looking unfavourable, the picnic will be moved to an indoor location of your choice. Reschedules and cancellations due to weather cannot be made by the client within the 48 hour window prior to the picnic. Please refer to our cancellation policy.
Q: What is the cancellation policy?
A: There will be no refund given if cancellation occurs within 48 hours of the scheduled picnic time. A refund minus a 25€ cancellation fee will be given if cancellation occurs more than 48 hours from the scheduled picnic time.* We know life happens and are happy to reschedule your picnic if you contact us to reschedule with more than 48 hours notice from your original scheduled picnic time. Please be sure to read our weather policy, as well.
*Groups of 9+ forfeit their 25% retainer in the event of any cancellation.
Q: How far in advance can I book?
A: We accept bookings no more than sixty days in advance and with no less than 48 hours notice.
Q: What payment do you accept?
A: Cspicnics accepts Mbway and bank transfers.
Q: Do you sell gift cards?
A: Yes, we do! We sell gift cards on our website. They can be found here.
